These cookies certainly exceed your expectations; as they are very big for boxed sandwich cookies – gluten-free or regular. In fact, they are so large that a serving size is one cookie. You might think that one cookie couldn’t be satisfying, but they are big and filling. They are so good you might ignore the serving size and eat a second one… Not to mention, they are an enjoyable, easy snack. When it comes to texture the cookie is quite crunchy to bite through; but short and crisp. The filling is thick, with a type of slightly grainy texture that you expect with a maple-flavoured creme. Overall, the texture is so like the traditional version of a maple cookie, you can’t tell they are gluten-free. Would I buy these cookies again based on the texture? Yes, the texture is definitely what you are looking for in this cookie.

The taste of these Great Value Gluten-Free Maple Sandwich Cream Cookies is exceptional and packed with maple flavour. Know that there is no distinctive or unpleasant aftertaste to this cookie. You are simply left with a pleasant slightly maple taste lingering in your mouth – which is a bonus. The taste of these cookies is so delicious and well-balanced. The maple flavour pairs very well with the cookie and leaves you wanting more. Based on taste, I would definitely buy these treats again.

Yes, these cookies represent value for the cost, as they are not that much more expensive than regular maple cookies. However, they are also less expensive than other brands of gluten-free cookies. The size of the product meets expectations because the box size is actually larger than some regular maple cookies. Also, the actual cookies are very big for a sandwich cookie. Overall, I would recommend these cookies as they are very satisfying and they are an excellent value.
